Ellie likes everything to stay the same.  But then when day, her life is disrupted when a strange, cranky boy shows up who looks strikingly like her science obsessed grandfather.  Her mother quickly confirms her suspicions.  Melvin is not actually her cousin, he is in fact, her grandfather who has been experimenting with the aging process.  Ellie and Melvin will be going to school together and Ellie isn't sure what to make of all these changes.  Is staying young forever really the way everyone would want to live their life?
