Halfway Normal

Norah Levy is all set to return to middle school after a two year absence.  She is excited to be back with her friends and be a normal girl...not the girl who had cancer.  Norah has spent the last two years battling Leukemia and she's not sure how to act around friends that she hasn't been with in two years.  Norah finds that everyone reacts to her return in different ways.  Her parents are super protective and have instituted all kinds of rules that she must follow.  Some of her friends treat her differently or ignore her all together.  Norah meets Griffin, a new 8th grader, who doesn't know anything about her past and Norah in tends to keep it that way.  She just wants one normal relationship...that shouldn't be too hard to have, should it?
