Amara just has one wish...she wants to go to New York City and meet her father's family.  Her parents keep coming up with excuses about why she can't go, but Amara is persistent.  She has so many questions...why haven't her father and grandfather spoken in 12 years?  Does it have something to do with Amara being born?  Finally, her parents agree to let her go and she and her father are off to New York.  Amara has a long list of places she would like to visit.  What will she learn about her family during her New York adventure?
