Ten year old Hannah Geller wishes that her life was a story.  Because if it was, she would be able to rewrite the ending.  Hannah is the only girl in 5th grade who nobody likes.  And whose parents don't get along.  And who has little red bumps all over her face.  The one exciting thing in her life right now is her 8th grade penpal, Ashley.  Hannah is looking forward to meeting her, but even that doesn't go as it was planned.  Life isn't a story so Hannah has no idea how this is all going to end.
