Aven is not looking forward to starting high school.  She feels like there will be 3,000 students staring at her and making an issue out of the fact that she has no arms and relies on her feet for most everything.  Her friend Zion promises to never leave her side, but when Aven starts getting attention from Joshua, a boy that Zion has previously been bullied by, their relationship starts to change.  Aven is trying to figure out who her real friends are and who she really is.  It will take some time to sort out...but high school isn't going to be over for 4 long years...so she has some time, if she can stand it!
