Della and Suki have always been there for each other.  They don't know their fathers and their mother is in prison.  They are now in a foster home together, happy that they have gotten away from Clifton, their mother's boyfriend, but they both need help dealing with the bad things that happened to them while they were with Clifton.  Suki wants to take care of Della forever, but she also needs time to just be a kid too.  Francine, their foster mom, wants to help, will Della and Suki be able to let her into their lives and share their secrets so they can heal and move on?
