Odder loves to dive and swim and hunt for food in the ocean off the coast of central California.  She is fearless and carefree and loves to swim with her friends.  But one day, she and her friend go a little too far and they cross paths with a shark who injures Odder.  She must then rely on humans to save her and help her relearn what it means to be a friend and an otter.
