Ha and her family have started to make a life for themselves in Alabama, far away from their home in Vietnam.  But now Ha's mother wants to move the family to Texas where she hears there are better jobs and better prospects for her children.  Ha doesn't want to move in the middle of the school year where she will have to start the process of fitting in all over again, but her mother insists that it will be for the best.  Will this unwanted change bring new opportunities for Ha and her brothers?
